Dr. Yasser Mehrez – FRCA, FFPMRCA, MSC
Our Clinical Lead
Dr Yasser Mehrez is a highly experienced Pain Medicine specialist and currently serves as Lead Clinician at Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Trust. He also works within his private practice and is an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at the University of Buckingham Medical School.
Throughout his career, Dr Mehrez has developed extensive expertise in pain medicine, with a strong focus on multidisciplinary care and collaborative treatment planning. He has established joint clinics with spinal surgical teams and worked closely with urology and primary care colleagues to develop coordinated patient pathways. This approach helps ensure patients have a clear understanding of their treatment options and can access agreed treatments in a timely manner.
Dr Mehrez is committed to using up-to-date treatments, techniques and technologies to ensure patients benefit from continued advances within the field of pain medicine. He is a member of the American Society for Pain and Neuroscience, as well as the Neuromodulation Society of the United Kingdom and Ireland, The British Pain Society and the International Association for the Study of Pain.
Dr Mehrez undertook his specialist training through the South Thames School in London, including a year at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital Pain Management Centre, where he gained experience in advanced pain management and neuromodulation techniques. This training provides a strong clinical foundation for his current leadership, teaching and specialist practice.
